Child Safety Standards
Version 1 ยท Effective 16 October 2026
These publicly accessible child safety standards apply to Twinkles, published on Google Play and operated by Shipline Solutions.
Zero tolerance
Twinkles prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualisation of children and any attempt to contact or groom a child. Child safety is not optional. Twinkles is only for people aged 18 or older.
Age checks
At onboarding, a neutral date-of-birth check is made on the server. A failed age check locks the account and device from retrying until the entered date reaches adulthood; DOB is locked after onboarding, and corrections go through support. Stars also undergo voice-verification review. These measures do not replace reporting a suspected underage account.
How to report
In Twinkles, open the safety/report control on a profile, conversation or post-call screen, choose Report, and select the reason underage or sexual_content as appropriate. You can also block the account and contact the child-safety point of contact: Abishek Reddy (Director, Shipline Solutions Private Limited), child-safety@twinkles.live. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement.
Our response
We review reports, remove prohibited material and underage accounts, ban violating accounts, and may block devices. We preserve relevant evidence for lawful investigation and report suspected child exploitation to law enforcement or India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal where legally required.
