About Twinkles
Twinkles is a social app for making friends through one-to-one voice and video conversations, in Hindi, English and 9 more Indian languages. It runs on Android in India and is operated by Shipline Solutions Private Limited.
How Twinkles works
Twinkles has two kinds of member. Wishers, the men who use Twinkles, call Stars, women whose voice our team has verified. Every call is one to one, voice or video, and Wishers who add a Star to their Court can chat with her between calls. There is no social feed, no followers and no posts.
Wishers pay for calls, chats, gifts and Court with Gems, and Stars are paid for their time. Current prices are on the pricing page, and For Stars explains how Stars earn.
How Stars are verified
Every Star records a short voice sample when she signs up, and our team listens to it before she can take a single call.
How calls and chats are kept safe
- Stars see each Wisher only as a Wisher number, never a name or phone number, and no one’s phone number is shown in the app.
- Anyone can end a call, and block or report someone, from any call or chat. Blocking ends a live call and stops all contact between the two people.
- Chat hides the phone numbers and links it detects.
- Nudity, sexual content and harassment are not allowed. Reports go to our safety team, and confirmed violations lead to warnings, restrictions or bans. See the Community Guidelines.
- Twinkles is for adults aged 18 or older, and it is not a dating or escort service. See Child safety.
