What does a Star do?

You talk. When you are online, Wishers can see your profile and call you for a voice or video call. Wishers who add you to their Court can also chat with you between calls.

Twinkles is for friendly conversation. It is not a dating or escort service, and nudity and sexual content are not allowed on calls, in chats or in profiles. See the Community Guidelines.

Who can become a Star?

Women aged 18 or older in India, with an Android phone. You sign up with your phone number, choose your languages and record a short voice sample. Our team listens to it before you can take a call.

Your role is set when you sign up and can’t be changed later, and each person can have only one account.

How do Stars earn?

You earn Beans, the app’s earning balance, from:

• the paid minutes of the voice and video calls you take;
• paid chat messages from Wishers;
• gifts a Wisher sends you during a call.

Every earning shows in your wallet statement in the app.

How do withdrawals work?

Add your UPI ID or bank account and your PAN once. PAN is required, and our team checks it at your first withdrawal. Then request a withdrawal of your Beans in the app.

Before you confirm, the app shows the amount in rupees and any tax (TDS) deducted where the law requires it. Recently earned Beans are held for a few days before they can be withdrawn, and there is a minimum withdrawal; the app shows both.

Our team reviews each request and pays it to your UPI ID or bank account, and you get a receipt with the bank reference. Payouts are not instant. The Terms (section 6) have the details.

How much can I earn?

It depends on how many calls you take and how long they last. Wishers choose whom to call, so Twinkles does not promise any amount. The rates are shown in the app.

Is it safe?

Safety comes first for Stars. Read the full safety page for how calls, chats and reports work.

• Your phone number is never shown to anyone on Twinkles.
• Your profile shows your profile name, an illustrated avatar, your languages and what you choose to add. It never shows a photo of you. On a video call the caller sees your face live, and you can decline any video call.
• You see each caller only as a Wisher number.
• You go online only when you choose, and you can decline any call, voice or video.
• End any call at any time, and block or report anyone from a call or chat. Blocking ends a live call and stops all contact.
• Chat hides the phone numbers and links it detects.
• Reports go to our safety team, and confirmed violations lead to warnings, restrictions or bans.

Do I have to pay anything?

No. Stars never pay on Twinkles: no joining fee, no deposit, no “activation” charge and nothing to buy. If anyone asks you to pay to become a Star, it is not Twinkles. Please report it to grievance@twinkles.live.

3. Record your voice sample. Our team reviews it.
4. Once you are verified, go online and take your first call.

Is it safe to be a Star?

Safety comes first for Stars. Your phone number is never shown and your profile has no photo, callers appear only as a Wisher number, Twinkles does not record calls, chat is text only, and you can decline, end, block or report any call. On a video call the caller sees your face, so take video calls only when you want to. Our team verifies every Star, and reports go to our safety team.

No. Wishers see your profile name, an illustrated avatar, your languages and anything else you add to your profile. Your phone number is never shown, and your profile has no photo of you.

Do I have to take video calls?

No call is compulsory. You can decline any call, voice or video, and end a call at any time.

Can I choose my own hours?

Yes. You go online when you want to take calls and go offline when you are done.
